My Story

I'm the founder of J. Beckman & Co, a marketing consultancy for nonprofits and education organizations. I got my start in graphic design and copywriting, learning early how to create experiences through visuals and words. Over time, that craft grew beyond channel execution into content strategy, growth messaging, and leadership roles where I was guiding and meeting ambitious initiatives. With 15 years of experience marketing in agency environments, corporations, and leading content for a national education nonprofit, I know how to tell the full arc of brand storytelling.

 

I am the perfect mix of maker, strategist, and leader. I build the strategy behind the story by helping you uncover what’s working and what isn’t. I synthesize and organize. I create strategies and frameworks that you can explain simply. And I build the content and its roadmap.
